What I think: When I first started using this exfoliator, I didn't like it because I wasn't used to using an exfoliator with 'plastic' beads (I'd only ever used scrubs like the St. Ives Apricot Scrub). Now I love this exfoliator!
I really like that there wasn't a scent to this product. It has a clean smell, but isn't overly fragranced. It leaves my skin feeling really soft and gets rid of any flaky bits on my face. I feel like my skin does look brighter after use. I also found that it didn't dry out my skin.
The beads disperse really quickly, so some areas have loads of beads while some areas have none. I find that regardless of this, my skin feels exfoliated the same amount all over my face. The beads get everywhere! If you don't rinse the exfoliator off throughly, you may find a few blue beads in your hair the next day!
This is only a 75ml tube, but you only need a small amount each time so it will last for ages. £8 for such a small tube is a little expensive, but not as much as other brands. I used a £5 off voucher to buy this and was happy to pay £3, but may be a little hesitant if I had to part with £8 for this again as I like the St Ives scrub as well and you get double the amount for approximately half the price.
What are your favourite exfoliators?
Thank you for reading. xoxo, Joy

I've only ever used the st. ives scrub too, and I'm hesitant to try something new. This sounds good though, thanks for the review =)
ReplyDeleteI really love this one too! I actually got a little mini bottle in a GWP a couple of years back and I've bought it regularly since then :)
ReplyDeleteI love the St. Ives scrubs myself but one of my favourites is definitely Scrub your nose in it byt Soap & Glory. It smells amazing and leaves my skin feeling really smooth ♥
I must have tried hundreds of exfoliators but I'm not sure I've tried one with plastic deads like this - definately going to look into giving this one a go!! x
ReplyDeleteI love the MAC volcanic ash exfoliator once a week and clarins orange scrub once a week.
ReplyDeleteThanks for your comments!

@Vida - I'm a bit like that as well. I would recommend this, but if you find the St. Ives works well for you, then there's no need to change something that doesn't need to be changed :) xx
ReplyDelete@Joy - I'm glad to see someone else tht loves this product! :D Ooh, that Soap and Glory one sounds interesting. I will definitely have to look into that one. Thanks :) xx
@Rachel - I hadn't ever tried a plastic bead one either, since I thought they would be less effective. But I would definitely recommend this one! Hopefully the £5 off No7 vouchers come around again soon :) xx
@The doll on fashion - Ooh, I will definitely have to look into those. I've heard lots of good things about the MAC one :) xx
